Lightpoint Church found its beginnings in Point Cook in April 2011. Pastors Phil & Tracy Shand, founding pastors, planted Lightpoint Church in obedience to the call of God, and since that time the church has steadily grown and has met in a number of different venues. In 2022, after the COVID pandemic of 2020/1, led by God, they installed our current senior pastors, Ps Jonathan and Helancia Greeff. Today over 500 people, spanning more than 50 nationalities, call Lightpoint Church home, attending our Sunday 10am service at Emmanuel College Point Cook and Armstrong Creek East Community Hub locations.
It is our desire for every person who walks through the doors of Lightpoint Church to feel welcomed and at home, regardless of their spiritual or cultural background. We hope and pray that you will encounter God's presence at each Sunday service.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
- Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
We run programs for kids from age 2 to Grade 6 during our 10am service, in addition to a parents room with live video feed, change table and toys.
