By enrolling, you'll gain a CERT IV in Leadership and Ministry, grounding you in both foundational and advanced ministry skills. But this isn’t just classroom learning – through our hands-on student internship, you’ll be actively applying what you learn in real-world ministry, honing your leadership abilities where it counts.
The Leadership Academy is designed to equip, mentor, disciple, and release individuals into their God-given purpose and leadership potential through a combination of academic study and practical ministry experience. Participants will engage in a Certificate IV in Ministry and Discipleship alongside an internship at church, fostering growth in both knowledge and service, strengthening and deepening their faith as they follow Jesus and pursue the call of God.
Certificate IV in Ministry and Discipleship: Over two years, participants will engage in comprehensive coursework covering biblical studies, theology, and practical ministry skills. This program will equip you with the foundational knowledge necessary for effective leadership in a church setting.
Hands-On Ministry: Participants will serve in church, applying their learning in real-world contexts. This internship will help bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing you to gain invaluable experience in church operations and community engagement.
We offer this program on a part-time basis for the duration of 2 years so that your workload is manageable and your work/life balance is maintained. That means you’ll have 1 unit of study per school term.
Study group and mentoring sessions are held weekly with the exclusion of school holidays. Meetings are held locally to Point Cook.
